I know this might be the wrong season but I'm just a little tired of seeing only winter things.  And besides there's nothing wrong with bringing in Spring a little early.
(Yep, that girl wearing chiffon and sandals, shivering in the snow is me.)
I love how the red looks with the neutrals.  Red can always be worn with black for a sharp wintry look.  But there's nothing that brings out the red in red, more than wearing it with soft blush colors.  These Jimmy Choo strappy sandals are a pair I've been coveting for a while.  Accessorize with gold to match the brown undertone of the neutrals.  Pile on the gold cuffs, bangles and necklaces. And a pair of chunky vintage clip-on studs.

The inspiration for this look: The icy-mint color of the vintage blouse.  Goes perfectly with the black as a base and metallic silver shoes.  Top it off with rose-gold (and rose-shaped!) earrings.

SEEN THIS BEFORE...

I was clicking through WWD's photos on Facebook today, and came across this look by Lanvin for Fall 2012.  I always hear that black and white seems boring, and "playing it safe", but the reality of it is that it always looks good, no matter what. It reminded me of a look we put together for BV, so I decided to try one of those "Get This Look!" posts. Truth is, it's a "Get This Look, First!" post, because Lanvin's look isn't even in stores yet. Nanananana.
